Miss Courtney, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA
Special Programs/Academy Director
Courtney received a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Texas A&M University. She then went on to earn her Master’s in Special Education degree from Texas Tech University with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. She has provided ABA services based in clinical, home, community, and school-based settings, including classroom consultation and individual educational evaluations. Her expertise is in addressing various behavioral challenges that interfere with learning and natural environment functionality, executive functioning, advanced social cognition, social/emotional regulation, and behavior management.
As a sibling of a child with autism, Courtney’s passion for this field began at a young age. Inspired by her brother, Courtney began volunteering her time to assisting special needs children in college. She has worked with patients with disabilities for over eight years and received her credentials as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2014. Courtney has served a variety of individuals with autism and other special needs including children, adolescents, and adults. She is a firm believer that with patience, support, and consistency, any child is capable of reaching their full potential.
Teacher - Differentiated Instruction; English & Language Arts Specialty
Jasmine holds a bachelor’s degree in education, extensive training in behavior analysis and in strategic reading. Jasmine has more than 3 years experience as a behavior therapist and more than 5 years teaching experience with students with and without learning differences. Jasmine is completing her teaching certification requirements through ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International).
Teacher - Mathematics and Technology Specialty
Andrea holds a bachelor’s degree in instructional techology. She has been a teacher for a college preparatory private school for more than 12 years. Andrea has undergone training in behavior analysis and is working toward a credential as a registered behavior technician.
Teacher/RBT - Differentiated Instruction in English, Language Arts, Math, and History
Tessa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Dallas Baptist University. She was an educator in public schools for over 15 years. Tessa is also a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). She has over 3 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis. She also has a child with autism. She has experience as a therapist, educator, and parent.
Tessa is currently working towards her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is pursuing her certification to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
